Skip founded Geonexus in 2009 after over 25 years of experience in the GIS, Utilities, and Asset Management Industries. Before starting Geonexus, Skip served in leadership roles with Esri and a large system integration firm. He is an expert in planning, designing, and implementing enterprise GIS and specializes in integrating Esri ArcGIS with Enterprise Asset Management systems including IBM Maximo, Oracle WAM, and ABB Enterprise Software; customer information systems; and mobile technology. When Skip isn’t at work, he can usually be found spending time with his family or volunteering for his children’s field hockey, lacrosse, and swim teams.
Henry Mittelman has spent the past 30+ years building, operating, and selling multi-million dollar companies. He is a nationally recognized business advisor and coach, and the founder of CEO Advisory Partners, advising and coaching founders and CEOs of small-medium size businesses and well-funded start-ups, including Mark Cuban Shark Tank Companies.
As the company’s Chief of Staff, he guides the executive leadership team to overcome the challenges of growth, and navigate the crucial decisions that will shape the future of the company. Working intimately and collaboratively, Henry provides an unbiased clear lens, guidance, and counsel necessary to effectively develop and implement the appropriate strategies and tactics to drive the business forward.
Henry is the author of Get Your Business UnSTUCK for GOOD!, an Amazon #1 Best Selling Book. He attended New York University, received his MBA from Pacific Western University, and served in the Strategic Air Command of the United States Air Force. Henry and his wife Carole reside in Boston, Massachusetts.
Wendy Jacobs leads the Product Management organization at Geonexus, shaping product vision, strategy, and execution as the company evolves its integration platform. She is focused on building a strong product discipline, aligning teams around clear priorities, and ensuring Geonexus delivers meaningful customer and business value as it transitions from GIP to GIC.
Before joining Geonexus, Wendy served as Executive Director of Product Management at SSP Innovations, where she led enterprise software portfolios serving utilities and telecom customers. She has also founded and served as President of Strategic Evolutions, directed product management, licensing, and market solutions at Maxar Technologies, and worked as a Business Process Excellence Consultant at Slalom Consulting.
Wendy brings deep experience across enterprise software, utilities, and GIS, with a passion for connecting customer needs to clear product direction and scalable execution.
Outside of work, Wendy enjoys running, watching her two sons play sports, and painting abstract art.
Sameera leads the software engineering organization at Geonexus, driving the company’s technology vision and execution. With nearly two decades of experience in enterprise integration and cloud-native platforms, he’s played a pivotal role in building and scaling SaaS products at industry-leading companies.
Before joining Geonexus, Sameera held leadership positions at Celigo and WSO2, where he built a reputation as a leader who can orchestrate high-risk, high-impact initiatives that influence long-term strategic growth.
Outside of work, he spends most of his time with his wife and two young sons. But whenever he gets a breather, Sameera enjoys working on building innovative tools and technologies that solve everyday challenges.
Josh brings over 15 years of marketing and sales leadership experience in the Software industry to Geonexus. Before joining Geonexus, Swenson led and managed revenue creation efforts at several early and mid-stage technology startups including Amplifinity, Foresee, and Commerce Guys. Josh is a graduate of Augusta University and holds an MBA from the University of Utah.
Jennifer’s role involves managing Geonexus’ back-office operations and overseeing the functions related to customer support within the company. She holds a Bachelor of Science in History from the University of Wisconsin. Before working for Geonexus, Jennifer worked as a Project Manager for an environmental consulting firm. When Jennifer is not at work, she is caring for her three children and volunteering with their sports and school-related activities.
Akshata Nayak is an Engineering Lead at Geonexus, where she plays a key role in driving execution, quality, and technical leadership across the engineering team. She focuses on enabling predictable delivery, strengthening accountability, and ensuring high standards in how work is designed and implemented.
She brings a strong foundation in Java, C#, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and Android development. She partners closely with engineers and product stakeholders to guide technical design, unblock complex challenges, and improve implementation quality. She is also instrumental in fostering strong engineering practices and elevating the overall performance of the team.
Akshata holds a Master of Technology in Computer Science from Nitte University in India and a Master of Science in Computer and Information Science from the University of Michigan Dearborn.
Outside of work, Akshata enjoys creative pursuits such as canvas painting, along with cooking, traveling, and spending time outdoors.

Asitha Nanayakkara is Principal Engineer at Geonexus, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping the architecture and technical foundation of the Geonexus Integration Cloud. With more than a decade of experience designing and scaling complex integration and payment systems, he brings deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and event-driven architecture.
Before joining Geonexus, Asitha contributed to several industry-defining technologies, including WSO2’s Message Broker, integration product stack, Choreo, and Ballerina projects. He later helped build Moniepoint’s payments infrastructure, powering millions of daily financial transactions. At Geonexus, he now applies that same experience to create resilient, scalable, and secure solutions that give utilities and asset-intensive organizations total confidence in their data.
Outside of work, Asitha enjoys swimming, gardening, exploring new tech through DIY projects, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
Ruchira Wageesha is a Principal Engineer at Geonexus, where he applies his deep expertise in large-scale integration platforms, distributed systems, and cloud-native architecture to shape the core of the Geonexus Integration Cloud. With over sixteen years of engineering experience, he is focused on strengthening the product’s technical foundation, accelerating delivery, and raising the bar on reliability, performance, and scalability.
Ruchira’s work was central to the evolution of an iPaaS platform ranked among the Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice vendors, where he helped transform it from a simple integration tool into a sophisticated orchestration engine capable of handling billions of records per month. His experience is instrumental as Geonexus builds its next-generation platform for long-term market growth.
Outside of work, Ruchira enjoys experimenting with new ideas, exploring 3D printing, tackling DIY projects, and staying active through table tennis and soccer.
Sasikala Kottegoda is a Senior Staff Engineer at Geonexus, where she is focused on driving the evolution of our platform toward a modern, cloud-native architecture. With over a decade of experience in enterprise messaging, integration, e-commerce, and cloud technologies, she brings a deep technical foundation to her work.
Before joining Geonexus, Sasikala held engineering and leadership roles at organizations such as WSO2 and B&S, where she played a key part in scaling complex systems and supporting high-performing teams. Her approach blends hands-on problem solving with a people-first mindset, making her both a technical anchor and a strong mentor within the team.
Outside of work, Sasikala is a proud mother, an avid sports enthusiast, and a passionate music lover.
Brooke is responsible for coordinating and completing all software release and testing processes, maintaining documentation, and working on the development of the Geonexus Integration Platform. She is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a bachelor’s in Marketing and Logistics Management as well as a certificate in Web Development. In her free time, Brooke enjoys traveling, playing guitar, and spending time outside with her pup, Nugget.

Jose joins Geonexus as a Senior Software Developer. His role involves solution-based research and development, maintenance to Geonexus software products, and creating tests to ensure software quality and reliability. Jose is an OCP Java 8 certified developer with over twenty years of software development experience spanning client/server, web, cloud, and database design and development with emphasis on ERP systems and integration. He’s worked with technologies such as Java, .NET, SQL, PL/SQL, and HTML/CSS/JavaScript. In his spare time, he enjoys reading up on software development, learning and trying new technologies, and exercising.
Xiaoqing has over 10 years of experience developing rich internet and mobile-based applications using Java, Javascript, HTML-5, and CSS. She is proficient in Esri ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Desktop, and SDE. She has a proven track record developing applications using the Esri ArcGIS Server Web API’s. At Geonexus, she is the lead developer for GeoWorx® Office and GeoWorx Sketch products. She also works on the Geonexus Integration Platform. Xiaoqing has also developed numerous widgets to extend Maximo Spatial for Geonexus customers. Xiaoqing holds a Master of Science in Geographic Information Systems from Eastern Michigan University. Outside of Geonexus, Xiaoqing enjoys her creative side. She studied oil painting for 10 years and likes learning animations and visualizations. She can spend an entire week working on a single character design.
Jimmy has over four years of experience working in Java, and Android, C++, and C#, developing both desktop and mobile applications. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science. In his time off, he loves to spend time with family, and enjoys delving into his art projects, doing sketches, and making digital, watercolor, and acrylic paintings.

Katelyn’s responsibilities include delivering prompt and efficient technical support to Geonexus customers and partners while overseeing the management of software documentation and knowledge base articles. Prior to working at Geonexus, Katelyn worked for the Suffolk County Water Authority in New York where she gained experience in GIS and the water utility industry. Katelyn holds a Masters of Science degree in Geography and a GIS certificate from The George Washington University. When she is not at work, she enjoys playing soccer, crafting, and spending time with her husband and pup, Duke.
Julianna earned her Bachelor’s of Science in geography and environmental studies from Central Michigan University. She had previously worked at Geonexus as a Technical Support Specialist, and later promoted to Software Implementation Specialist. After a brief hiatus, Julianna returned to Geonexus to continue her work in the geospatial space. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her three dogs, trying new recipes, and reading the latest trending novels.
Hannah is a certified GIS Professional (GISP) with more than six years of experience in geospatial analysis, database management, and web mapping applications. She recently joined Geonexus as an implementation specialist, bringing a strong background in spatial data validation, client-facing roles, and advanced geospatial tools. Hannah is skilled in the ESRI suite, QGIS, relational database management systems (RDBMS), and scripting languages such as SQL and Python. Outside of work, she is passionate about playing Ping Pong and is currently being coached at a local Ping Pong club. In her free time, she enjoys sewing and tailoring custom dresses for friends using her sewing machine.
At Geonexus, Emma is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and growth. She is the main point of contact for all customer needs, and works to ensure continuous open communication and support so that our business partners can best leverage Geonexus software for their continued success.
Prior to joining Geonexus, Emma worked at Shiseido Americas, where she managed the day-to-day Customer Success operations across 7 brands for several major retailers including Ulta, Macy’s, Nordstrom, Amazon, and Von Maur. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University, and is fluent in Japanese.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys going to concerts, baking, playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends, and spending time with her 13-year-old black cat, Buttons.
Mara supports the Revenue Operations team at Geonexus as a Sales and Marketing Coordinator, where she contributes to campaign execution, content development, and lead generation. She holds a Master of Management from the University of Michigan, and she is passionate about identifying client needs, crafting compelling messages, and driving measurable engagement across multiple channels. She spends all of her free time switching between playing golf and skiing, walking her neighborhood dogs, and playing with her two cats, Pickle & Drumstick.
